A Q&A with our employee who makes Arborwear so amazing

Arborwear is a very special place, and it is the employees who make it so special. Our connections are what cultivates our family culture. That is why we are spotlighting our employees' alignment with our company vision, mission, and values. Kathy is our Data Integrity Supervisor who has been with Arborwear for 3 years! Learn more about Kathy:

Q: What drew you to Arborwear originally?

A: I have a Horticultural as well as Sales & eCommerce background, so having the opportunity to work for a company that combined both was very exciting! Having worked locally in Horticulture, I had always heard positive things about Arborwear and our products.

Q: How has the company changed since?

A: The company has grown significantly since I started.

Q: What is your favorite Arborwear memory?

A: The first Crawfish Boil I was here for, and making the first Arborwear sock monkey.

Q: What motivates you to wake up and go to work?

A: Being able to take on a challenge and work through it.

Q: What is the best career lesson/advice you’ve learned so far?

A: Listening; I have found the more you really truly listen to people, the better you can handle any situation and work together as a team.

Q: What do you like to do when you aren’t working?

A: Fishing, camping, drawing (anything artistic or crafty), roller skating, disc golfing, gardening (mostly anything outdoors), volunteering, and being with my family, friends and my animal companions.

Q: If you could meet anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be?

A: I think we meet people on a daily basis that can change our lives, provide advice, or inspire no matter who they are, and it is important to value these interactions.

Q: What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know?

A: I have roller skated a marathon.

Q: What are 3 words to describe you?

A: Artistic, Helpful, Hardworking

Hi-5 Kathy for all of your contributions over the years, we appreciate you more than you’ll ever know!
