A Q&A with our employee who makes Arborwear so amazing

Arborwear is a very special place, and it is the employees who make it so special. Our connections are what cultivates our family culture. That is why we are spotlighting our employees' alignment with our company vision, mission, and values. Dave is a Material Handler who has been with Arborwear for 7 months! Learn more about Dave:

Q: What drew you to Arborwear originally?

A: I previously knew Operations Manager, Tyler Morgan

 

Q: How has the company changed since?

A: Since I started, volume has increased and we continue to meet demands timely. The organization in our warehouse is also improving.

 

Q: What is your favorite Arborwear memory?

A: Bratfest 2021!

 

Q: What motivates you to wake up and go to work?

A: My wife, son, and dog Lil' Willie Nelson. 

 

Q: What is your proudest moment at Arborwear?

A: When we meet our goals.

 

Q: What has been your favorite project so far?

A: Currently, I am rearranging the warehouse to improve efficiency. It is a large task, but will be very rewarding for everyone when the project is complete.

 

Q: What is the best career lesson/advice you’ve learned so far?

A: Watch each other's backs. We honestly spend as much time here as with our families, so it's important to get along with and watch out for your fellow employees.

 

Q: What do you like to do when you aren’t working?

A: Drive my old truck, root for the Browns, and hang out with the fam.

 

Q: If you could meet anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be?

A: My grandfather. I never got to meet him and I'm sure he could tell me some good stories about my dad when he was younger. 

 

Q: What are 3 words to describe you?

A: Funny, caring, and outgoing.

 

Q: What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know about?

A: I'm friends with the “Dancing Outlaw” Jesco White and his family.
