A Q&A with our employee who makes Arborwear so amazing

Arborwear is a very special place, and it is the employees who make it so special. Our connections are what cultivates our family culture. That is why we are spotlighting our employees' alignment with our company vision, mission, and values. Colin is our Purchasing Supervisor who has been with Arborwear for 1 year! Learn more about Colin:

Q: What drew you to Arborwear originally?

A: The culture. I have never worked in a place that felt more like a family environment. Right from the start and even in the interview process you could tell this is a special place to work.

Q: How has the company changed since?

A: Feels like Arborwear has changed each day since I started. My first week starting at Arborwear we went through a software change. Then I went through a couple of position changes. Most importantly Arborwear found a new home!

Q: What motivates you to wake up and go to work?

A: Trying to follow the 1% rule. If you can try to consistently be 1% better at what you do each day, over the course of a year you will make significant progress. I cant wait to look back in a year to see where I started and see all the positive changes made along the way.

Q: What is the best career lesson/advice you’ve learned so far?

A: Don't get caught up in overthinking and stressing about what the future holds. Take action and focus on what you can accomplish as of right now because overthinking the future leads to problems that dont even exist in the first place..

Q: What do you like to do when you aren’t working?

A: Golf with friends and family.

Q: What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know?

A: I have a large Italian family and have 19 cousins.

Q: What are 3 words to describe you?

A: Adventurous, Energetic, Ambitious

Hi-5 Colin for all of your contributions over the years, we appreciate you more than you’ll ever know!
