Learn more about Nikki:
Q: What drew you to Arborwear originally?
A: Being a local company. My boyfriend wore the clothing all the time. He was going in the store and saw the job posting on the front door. I applied the next day.
Q: How has the company changed since?
A: The company has grown so much! We can't fit sales, marketing, accounting, customer service, our Team Captain and VP of Sales all in the same room anymore!
Q: What is your favorite Arborwear memory?
A: Bill's poems at parties are for sure one of a kind! Trying to convince him we need another poem here soon! Watching Bill do the worm at the party at Rollhouse is a memory I will not forget!
Q: What motivates you to wake up and go to work?
A: I enjoy my job and the people I work with. It makes it easy to go to work when I enjoy what I do.
Q: What has been your favorite project so far?
A: Working on the Altec Event we hosted at Arborwear. It was really cool for me to learn more about what our customers do every day and what kind of equipment they use. It also helped provide them with their logo'd gear and see it come full circle.
Q: What is your proudest moment at Arborwear?
A: A customer who I would talk to on the phone and email on a daily basis came into town for an event we were hosting. It was awesome to meet him in person and to put a name to the face. When he introduced me to other people from his company, I heard how much he appreciated me and how hard working I was. It blew me away and awesome to hear the hard work was making a difference to the customer.
Q: What is the best career lesson/advice you’ve learned so far?
A: Figuring out your Work/Life Balance early on. The better you take care of yourself, the better you will do and excel at work. When I was younger I busted my butt and it was what I could do then. Now with a family, the balance is super important so you don't burn yourself out.
Q: What do you like to do when you aren’t working?
A: I like to be outside with my family and friends anywhere from a bonfire to country concerts to hanging out at the pool! I’m always up for new adventures but quality time with friends and family is the best.
Q: If you could meet anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be?
A: My Granddad. I was too young to figure out how much knowledge he had and how many different life experiences he had including fixing fighter jets in WWII. I would love to spend days listening to him all he had done with his life.
Q: What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know?
A: I am the first U.S. born citizen in my family!
Q: What are 3 words to describe you?
A: Bubbly, Caring, Helpful
Hi-5 Nikki for all of your contributions over the years, we appreciate you more than you’ll ever know!
