Katy is a senior at Kent State University majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Photo Illustration. She is our Media intern this spring.

Q: What drew you to Arborwear originally?
A: I loved their mission and values! I was drawn to how passionate the company was about their products and making their customers feel respected and safe. They make everyone feel like family and I felt welcomed from day one!
Q: What is your favorite Arborwear memory?
A: Shooting in the studio and having dogs come and greet me (mostly Brooklyn)!
Q: What has been your favorite project so far?
A: Shooting some detailed shots of outerwear and being able to put my own creative twist on some shots.
Q: What is the best career lesson/advice you’ve learned so far?
A: So far, I have learned to always speak my mind and to not be afraid of giving input or asking questions.
Q: What do you like to do outside of Arborwear?
A: I am a portrait photographer outside of work. I also love to do my makeup!
Q: If you could meet anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
A: I would want to meet Ariana Grande because she is a huge role model of mine. I respect her as an artist and I would love to tell her how her music has impacted my life.
Q: What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know?
A: I have a freckle on my eye!

A: Creative, empathetic, and kind.
