Sydney is a senior at Kent State University majoring in Public Relations. She is our Public Relations and Promotions intern this spring.

Q: What drew you to Arborwear originally?

A: Heidi, the director of marketing, was my advertising professor. She challenged me in class and encouraged me to apply!

Q: What is your favorite Arborwear memory?

A: My one-on-one meetings with Heidi! She continues to challenge me... and she always has good TV/movie recommendations. 

Q: What has been your favorite project so far?

A: My favorite project so far has to be working on the branding for the big move.

Q: What is the best career lesson/advice you’ve learned so far?

A: I have learned a lot! Specifically, I have learned a lot about the arborist community and how important their work is.

Q: What do you like to do outside of Arborwear?

A: Pre-COVID, I loved seeing my friends and family. Now I enjoy reading or watching TV with my cats.

Q: If you could meet anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

A: Harry Styles because he has been my favorite person since I was 11.

Q: What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know?

A: I have a metal ankle that can tell when it's going to rain.

Q: What are 3 words to describe you?

A: Creative, spontaneous, and advocate.
